A second night of poor sleep and why naps kill sleep for me

Iโ€™m not sure of the stream of consciousness flows faster or slower when sleep deprivation flows into the next night of sleep. Such it is with experiments and broken rules.

This morningโ€™s irritations at the tiniest of actions sprayed out minuscule, vitriolic bursts at inanimate objects. Followed by soothing self-talk and breathwork coupled with forgiveness. I ate breakfast. Cooked some short-grain brown rice in the cooker โ€” a no-brainer. Streamed some shows on my tablet (not to be confused with consciousness). Was active with passive zoning-out.

I thought at length about Sidney Greenstreet.

It was an idea for a short story. Greenstreet long dead, an actor famous for his parts in two movies. In Casablanca as Signor Ferrari and The Maltese Falcon where he played Kasper Gutman. I thought of the idea of an actor name Jefferson Greenscreens who changed his name as his father had done. They were first โ€” the Greenbachs. His grandfather was a character actor that emigrated from Nazi Germany. Changed his name to Greenstreet. His grandfather and family were Jews, escaping persecution. Jefferson, the grandson changed his name to Greenscreens. Heโ€ฆ
