It appears clear to me that you are a verbal thinker or a thinker in words and concepts, primarily, yes? And yet you also think in music / poetry too and this may be another mode of thinking. Neuroscientists report that music unifies both hemispheres of the brain. People suffering from Broca's Aphasia can understand speech, but cannot speak. They are taught to speak again through singing nursery rhymes. The music is slowly taken out and the words remain - a different part of the brain learns to speak.

All of the various modes of thinking are processed through the neocortex through: visual thinking, emotive thinking and/or verbal or concept thinking.

How does a musician think? Is it very different from a verbal thinker?
