I read Kierkegaard years ago while studying philosophy at university. I admired his renunciation of organized religion but do not remember much else of his philosophy.

I found your piece informative especially with regard to the God self the infinite and finite selves. The part of free will is a bit bothersome. Humankind seems to hold free will as an axiom and even an absolute. I see free will along a continuum arising out of slavery to unexamined habit to mastery and the ability to create something from nothing - as a completely realized being.
