As you may already know, every indigenous culture has a World Tree. Joseph Campbell has written extensively about these myths and symbols as regarding the hero’s journey.

I believe that within our collective memories we all have access to knowledge of the World Tree. When I wrote the fantasy novel: “The Green Man of Destiny” the World Tree was included as a kind of character in the story before I knew of Campbell’s work and a World Tree. And of course the Green Man himself is Druidic in origin and is well known in the British Isles.
