Biden like many centrists is a candidate playing it safe in terms of pandering to a “sleeping” electorate. One of the reasons Trump won was he presented himself as a candidate that was an outsider to champion the average worker. When Bernie lost the nomination, as Newsweek has reported, some Bernie voters cast their votes for Trump. Why? Because Bernie was (is) viewed as an outsider champion of equitable fairness economically, for justice and in reversing climate change and Trump claimed to be, though denied climate change all together.

Climate Change is akin to fighting World Wars I and II; and greater in terms of our needed response to the threat of the annihilation of the human species. The wibble-wobble response of Biden is playing it safe in the short term and a catastrophic fail for the long term.

But never fear Mr. Biden there will be no history to remember your failure to vigorously fight climate change and ensure a long term survival of the human species.
