After The Fall — Symbology

Tradition has it — the fall is a fall from grace. Adam and Eve were blissfully unaware of the relevance of their nudity or sexuality until they became aware of the knowledge of good and evil. Morality aside, any great fall, whether the fall from the world tree or biting into an apple, symbolizes transformation. In this fall, the hero loses his childhood innocence and his identity.
