Context is something we forget. I know I do forget of the larger context of my life in this epoch. The Hindu Yugas are great cycles of time.
Two parts of the reason for great suffering:
1. Although the Photon Belt is wrapped around us we are coming out of a dark age. This is a literal thing. Our Solar System is farthest away from the center of the Galaxy where there is more light. Although we are moving out of the dark towards the light many are afraid of change of any kind.
2. This 6,000 year period is coming to an end followed by a 300 year cusp or buffer period The first half of the 6,000 year period of 3K years was the Descending Kali Yuga, the next 3K years ending in 2025 ACE is the Ascending Kali Yuga. Kali is the Hindu Goddess/God of death, destruction, and re-birth. The Kali Yuga period has been described as a morally bankrupt, divisive era where commerce/money and power/over is worshiped.
