I have dyslexia too. I can relate to trying harder. In my first year in college when I took the Standardized Aptitude Tests it said I would have to take remedial reading if I did not get a C average or above. I Aced Composition 101 made the Deans List. I was excused from Composition 102 and went on to English Literature 101. Like you, I worked harder than my peers.
