Due to -- I think they call it neuro-divergent proclivities, or dyslexia and maybe ADHD, plus I think in pictures: your system doesn't work for me as a reader. It's too distracting from the story.

I think the one line link near the top of the page is good. I did the summary aka recap with my science-fiction/fantasy epic "Time Rifts" for a time, but I like the Previous Chapter with Preview at the top of the page followed by the full text of the story.

Though I think with your approach its more in-tune with modern day thinking.
