Even though I work as a Western Astrologer I have found that the Vedic Jyotisha Astrology is much more straightforward with regards to retrograding planets.

The Vedic or Hindi Astrologers report that retrograding planets are closer to Earth than when they are direct and therefore are more intense. That's all. I feel that many have turned over their power to retrogrades instead of rising to the intensity and working through it.
