Even though I work as a Western Astrologer I take the Jyotish (Vedic) Astrological view that the energy from retrograding planets is more intense. Western Astrology would have us believe that retrograde means that the energy of the retrograde turns inward.

If the Jyotish approach is to be believed then the intensity of the energies presents 3 choices: 1. turn inward; 2. jump into the challenge presented by the attributes if the retrograding planet; or 3 remain compassionately neutral.

Also a natal Jupiter retrograde protends the possiblibility of interdimesnsional "travel".
