Good advice. The one problem I have is (okay two problems): I have an ADD brain with too many ideas and 2. I canโ€™t stop writing.

After 45 years Iโ€™ve found my voice. I wrote many bad stories, commentaries and essays.

In writing fiction I spend time thinking about the story: What are the universal themes, what are the problems to be solved? Who are the major characters? Subplots? I usually start with the endingโ€Šโ€”โ€Šin my head. The adventure becomes how the characters surprise me through the conflicts, especially the unplanned ones, the plot twists and the weaving of the sub-plots.

The thing is: everyone has their own process of writing. Find out what that is and do it. (Just my opinion after publishing one fantasy fiction novel, and on the verge of publishing a non-fiction book.)
