Good piece. More awareness ad actions need o be taken in advance of the dire consequences of zero water.

In 2017 and 18 I repeatedly petitioned my state reps (up to 3x a week for months) to introduce a bill for tax credits and/or mandates new residential and businesses for constructing cisterns and other passive water collection systems to irrigate gardens, and other grey water uses such as watering homes/businesses down during threat of fires (as it is here in Northern California).

What response did I get? NONE. It was as if I did not exist.
