Good piece. I rent an 850sq. foot cinder block house. Whoever built it and filled the cinder blocks with cement made it a heat sponge in summer.

The landlord put up bamboo shades under outside the windows of the southwest facing windows. It has cooled my house considerably. Air conditioning is no longer required unless the temp is predicted to go above 100 F.

Wet towels are great.
