Jesus visited me when I was 4 years old and protected me from sexual abuse. Since then I have felt blessed and serve those who are suffering.

I later learned from Buddhist teachings- via Vipassanā Meditation and other spiritual practices that we can approach life from content (ego desires) or context (being - a knowing that all will be okay no matter what). After all we are all beings of light clothed in ego and connected to one another in community through grief and love.
