Horace tended to the wounded. Zol raised a husband and wife from the dead. They were his friends. They were in the afterlife, pleading to come back to life by Zol’s word. He restored others to life whose spirits were hanging around their bodies.
Twenty percent of the lava was real, and the rest was part of a spell cast by the Diva. The Diva’s remains had disappeared. Her slave transported them to the caves. Incantations, chants, and prayers were offered.
The healings and the caching of the Diva’s remains proceeded.
Wailing and crying out came in waves throughout the decimated village. Many whose homes and loved ones seemed lost, ensnared by the Diva’s spells, could not see their homes undamaged.
