Previous Chapter:
“The corpses are rising up!” Might exclaimed.
“We know,” said the first man.
“Even with my telescopic view glasses, I couldn’t locate the two lookouts. The walking corpses swarmed over where they were. The town doesn’t know of their coming… But how do you know?”
“Green told us. Last night,” the first man said.
“We must break camp immediately and get down to the town,” Might said, alarmed.
“There’s always the southeast passage,” the second man piped in.
“Right, I have not forgotten it.”
They packed up in haste. The second man reinforced Green’s stretcher with branches.
