How do we fight this?

For years I have tried writing an email a day to my reps: local, state, and federal. I'm convinced they don't read them. They might read them if I were a Big Donor, but I am not. If I get a response it always has nothing to do with what I addressed, if there is any response at all.

I give to grassroots protect the vote non-profits and progressive candidates. I don't feel represented.

I am disgusted with the Democrats lack of back-bone and poor leadership skills. I don't see solutions. I'm 70 years old and my health at present seems to be deteriorating so actions need to be in writing for the most part.
