How refreshing. On your island the common good is alive and well. Bravo! Very inspirational!

Its extremely disheartening that the common good has died in many communities even in the county I live in in Northern California. Here in the USA the common good has been replaced by money, greed, the stock market and self-interest. It hasn't been just Trump's influence - the erosion of the common good has been happening for years, probably since President Clinton's second term when he abandoned working class Americans for the elites of Silcone Valley.

On my FB page I've taken it upon myself to get on a mission to civilize and write about the common good as a begininng.
