I ask my clients if they would rather focus on the problems or the solutions. Most say the solutions. They were already focusing on the problems, making them bigger. (I work as an interdimensional healer.)

In my early 40s I began having flashbacks and night terrors regarding fears associated with childhood traumas. For a time I was fearful of going to sleep. Here's what I did - a kind of cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy) thing: I tell myself with the light - on that the space - (looking at the space and deciding} - I was in: "I am safe." With the lights off I repeat the phrase in my head: "I am safe."

Next in my mind I'd create an enormous bell jar (see link below) around and over my bed - like a force-field to keep out the bad stuff and keep me safe.

These two things worked for me.
