I buy clothes once every two years, but I'm a guy and a Connecticut Yankee living in exile in California (just kidding about the exile part). I wouldn't have to buy clothes so frequently if they were made better. After about a year of washing them they start getting holes. When I was younger I bought clothes once every 9 years or so. When I figured out that I could make my clothes last longer by handwashing them my hands have gotten so cripped-up - read painful from arthritis, well...

Before COVID I went out to eat maybe 3x per year, now 1x per year including take-out.

And since I live in CA I have earthquake supplies - a cache of water, canned goods, a camp stove and propane. Lighting open fires is dangerous given fire season.
