I contend that there is no free will because we live within nested invisible prisons that prevent us from experiencing a completion of free will. Consciousness does not exist within us. Consciousness is everywhere. Our brain is a transceiver of consciousness and yet as a species we do not act as if it is.
Our self / ego is disconnected from consciousness via the scientific principle of observe and reduce to explain. The disconnection is a self-centered principle that is analogous that Earth is the Center of the Universe.
Parameters of completed free will is an act that originates from Collective Consciousness without the constrictive nested prison mindsets. An example of completed free will on action might be: The ability to create something from nothing by transcending beliefs, opinions, habits, conditioning and programming from parents, society and previous human eras.
Interesting piece. I will definitely be re-reading it a few more times.
I have begun a series on Free Will by outlining the prison systems in which we reside: https://medium.com/know-thyself-heal-thyself/we-live-in-prison-an-overview-part-1-615d08f78690?sk=809b623d2eb430083041812ae0d83b90
