I don't share the one major diagnosis I have because it's stigma and I want to be treated like a healthy individual. I work hard to remain in control of my life (even though I acknowledge on one level that control is an illusion). The only disability I may mention from time to time is dyslexia.

I've been in intensive therapy on and off during my life and it has been very helpful. For 20 years I worked as a crisis counselor in alternative mental health. Currently I work as a healer - which is quite different that a therapist.
