I have had some experiences with Codependency 12-step groups but found them lacking due to no senior members. After going through all the 12 steps x3 I stopped going.

Like any large group whose group has been turned into predatory greed-based profit making arms - corruption is inevitable.

When I worked in two Crisis (Mental Health) Residential Treatment programs over a period of 20 years where clients problems with addictions to a variety of substances increased exponentially especially the last 9 years that I worked there - a small non-profit from '08 to '16. Many clients did not like AA or NA, a few went to alternatives.
