I have adapted to the PTSD experience from childhood ritual sexual abuse and my coping skills are intact.

I don't know that anyone can adequately feel the effects/affects of fire through words alone. The visceral feelings, the surge in cortisol, the flight response, is what I have experienced during imminent threat a fire and I've been one of the lucky ones - my house did not burn... The panic, the losses my friends have experienced of evacuating in a minute or less and losing all their belongings, escape with their lives.

Desiree think it ight be better to write a fiction-suspense piece on fire if you want people to experience the raw, core feelings of fire.

Each of us in this community feel more stressed during fire season (May through Oct/Nov) since 2017. Just saying.
