I have been consider the van life as well. A full Van conversion runs about 5 to 6K and may include a toilet inside a shower, propane stove / oven and a microwave, queen-sized bed etc.

I may do it when the climate crisis warrants it.

I am a person of place. Nearly 40 years ago I moved to this locale. I felt welcomed by the land - the mountains and valley. The feeling reminds me of that scene in "Field of Dreams" where Doc Graham says: "Once a place touches you like this the wind never blows so cold. It touches you and you are never the same. I can't leave just now - Ray Kinsella. But is there enough magic in the moonlight?"

I love this place and this place loves me.
