I love the import of your piece. Ever since I read about steady state economies in the early 70s it felt like the right move for humans to live within the limits of Earth. There's an elegance to it that appeals to me because its balanced.

Due to greed and market forces I don't see this happening. I would love to see what you see as scenarios for implementation of the steady state economy.
