Just when I had thought that we'd escaped the jaws of summer - last week my body was in a autumn mood in the morning with coastal layer fog and summer in the afternoon followed by autumnal nights.

Since the weekend its been the hell of summer (up to 116 yesterday on my front porch) and 84 right now at 9:40 am.
