I have one inquiry, hope this doesn't offend. By repelling "the other's energy" are you not enslaved by it?

Isn't attraction and repulsion opposite sides of the same coin? However, this is where you are at - the process towards liberation and I honor that in you.

I'm wondering: what is the other possibility beyond "repelling"?
