Regarding highlighting. I now highlight it because it’s part of the 3 steps of how a writer gets paid:

Reading at least for 30 seconds, highlighting, and responding — as in a comment. I clap 50x for support and enthusiasm. If the writer is good and writes on topics that interest me, I will follow them.
