I use 2 sophisticated air filtration devices that cover 2 rooms in my house 500 sq feet total. The manufacturer claims that it kills viruses in the air - but did not claim to kill COVID. I bought the first one two months before COVID hit the US.

I bought mine to reduce pollen and smoke during fire season. Even though I keep my windows closed during hazards conditions outside I have smelt smoke in copious amounts inside the house.
