I was attracted to the word "phenomenology" coupled with "a Romantic Encounter". Perhaps I was feeling sentimental about the use of "phenomenology". I first encountered the word and its ideas in the books of R. D. Laing - radical psychiatrist of the '60s and '70s, maybe you've heard of him.

I found your tale and the acumen of your thinking enchanting and pregnant with sly humor. As an astrologer opposites do attract (as in opposite angles), yet there must be some other kind of personality glue to hold a relationship together (trines and sextiles and an occasional square).

I loved your inner dialog and the play between you and the scientist. And of course I want more.
