I was hit by lightning too. The lightning strike was about 15 feet away. There was a plasma charge that surrounded my body that looked like gasoline in water. All my hairs stood on end and there was a static discharge. It even has a name - that surprised me. But I can't remember what it was - the name of the kind of lightning of course.
