I was naive and frustrated. Frustrated with my congressman and my senators who wanted only yes or no answers to topics they presented. I started a Move-on petition to try Trump for Crimes Against Humanity. I was told that the US is not a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and I already knew that somewhere in the recesses of my mind. Between that and the low turn-out on my petition I withdrew it.

Perhaps by getting someone like Bernie Sanders or AOC to support such a position of joining the ICC via a petition then the amount of people could pressure America and Trump and his GOP enablers could be tried for crimes against humanity.
