I wasn’t equating Mr. Sanders with Mr Trump. I was only pointing out a 2016 perception — based in strong part on the emotional identification with Mr. Sanders and Mr. Trump — as outsiders (see Robert Reich’s Saving Capitalism doc — 55 minutes in on Netflix). Also I wouldn’t qualify the people that your writing about as stupid, but highly identified emotionally with having wanted an outsider that spoke to their frustrations regarding the unresponsiveness of government to the middle class, working poor and the poor. Mr. Trump wears the cloak of working class sentiments while siding with big business and is decimating Federal government standards to aid the top 1% — so in agreement there with you and with you about Mr. Sanders. I’m sorry that you seemed to misunderstand my original statements. I hope this is help clarify what I wrote.
