I wrote an autobiographical novel about 9 times before I realized I that the material was too personal to write about.

I'm in my 70s now and I have perspective. The important things I never waited to try - just plunged in.

From a higher perspective there are no mistakes. Or mistakes lead us to lessons we needed to learn to course correct. Even waiting too long to make a move could be a lesson, eh?
