If he is convicted (and yes he should be convicted if found guilty) he will go to appeal.

The good news right there is he won't be able to run for office. But during the appeal - maybe all the way to the Supreme Court the question on everyone's mind: will the conviction stand or be overturned? If overturned he will have a rageful mob behind him stealing the election and then...

If the conviction stands then sentencing will happen.

My fantasy is that - after conviction sticks (if he doesn't flee the country) - he should be taken to Times Square, tarred and feathered and put into an electric chair. Electrodes put on his head and he should get a very low charge on his head for say 50 to 100 years. Just kidding.

He should be sentenced to community service (not jailed/imprisoned) working to help the poor or picking-up trash in National Parks.
