I'm sure many of you are already doing this -
Personal Plan:
1. CARS: Consider eliminating owning and driving a car if you can. If not drive less (only when necessary). Consider going to an EV or a Plug-In Hybrid. I cut my driving from 20,000 miles per year to 4,000 miles per year by working from home and driving when necessary combining bank and grocery trips together.
2. Paper recycling. a. Go-paperless., b. Any mail that has blank paper use for list making and scratch paper. c. When paper is fully written upon consider mulching if you're able or put in the blue recycle bin.
3. If you live in a drought area consider taking out your lawn and replacing with a garden, xeriscape or a combination of both. Get 55 gallon drums for all of you downspouts to collect rainwater for irrigation of you garden in summer. If you rent can't do that. Save the water from your steamed veggies and rinsed veggies in a bucket for watering plants when the rains don't come.
