In the '90s I went to a 3 day conference on Dysfunctional Families. It was good and the most powerful take-away was an experiencial workshop called something like: "We Are Addicted to Western Civilization and It's Killing Us". During this I role-played being a tiger who was an endangered species and this is who we are today... us humans in light of our addiction to the stuff of civilization and the cl;imate crisis.
