It isn't just billionaires. Fifteen years ago a relative of mine inherited a moderate sum of money - now worth over a million dollars. Before the inheritance she was relatively care free, after she became increasingly fearful, greedy and while conservative politically before, she was swept up by the terrorist propaganda network of Fox News and is a Trump supporter. (But hasn't succumbed to Q-Anon.)

She won't donate to charity unless there's a tax benefit for her. And here I had been thinking that a donation is freely given.

It would be sad if it wasn't so dangerous. So both sad and dangerous.
