It's an intuitive remark. However, in 2017 when fires decimated the upper valley people came together in much the same way as Bill Moyers described the sense of community he felt in the 1990s when we won the PBS poetry contest.

This same city looks like something out of the Victorian Era. It ignites a feeling of home in many people who visit and then move here. Then they attempt to build the community of their dreams. The various levels of thos communities come together for a common good of some kind.
