Its doubtful, based on Putin's past history, that he will withdraw and call off the war. He has yet to employ chemical, biological, and/or nuclear weapons, I'm afraid.

This is a war that Putin will lose by attrition over the next 8 months to a year or two with horrendous unnecessary suffering.

A military coup may replace Putin, but now - over the next 10 months that is an extremely slim chance.
