Writing whether fiction or slice of life is a formalization of unconscious elements of our lives - of your life - gathering them up to foretell a future. Of course - we writers - riders on the higher plains of consciousness realize there is no past or future - or even a point of the present. What you were describing in your stories - regarding connecting is a larger expanded present or a presence of knowing in yourself. And then back in the linear "I" - seeing past, future, and present differently. How a presence in you that includes future and past as one.

The quest for meaning allows love as a binding force. Seeing, emotionalizing, sensing, and cogitating allows love to pull everything into a Oneness of sorts. Love is the ultimate lens that binds all together as one.
