I’ve been working from home since 2003 until my father died in ‘06. In ‘09 I went back to full time work in Crisis Mental Health and switched my home practice to part time. In early 2017 I retired from full time and began full time at home along with a second business I began in 2018.
I’ve been busy. And as I age, I’m 68 now, schedule and routine has become more important. My body demands it. Work has been slow of late. So one night I binged on “The West Wing” two hours passed my ordinary bed time and it disrupted my mood, my thinking for nearly a week in getting back fully on schedule, getting good sleep etc.
To ensure I get good sleep I start a wind-down 3 hours before I hit the pillow… and it works.
