I've never had writer's block.
I get stuck sometimes. My way 'round the stuck is multiple projects (three including the stuck of the number one). Or daydreaming - a wandering mind can pluck storied directions out of the airs of nowhere. Or a dream in the night, a turn of phrase, and/or a walk in the woods.
I tried to write and re-write a book over the course of 7 years and 15 drafts and came to a realization. The autobiographical novel was too painful to write. I stopped. There are bits and pieces of it here on Medium, and some in a published memoir on how I became a healer. All that pain and without humor it was ghastly.
