I've read some articles about a mini-Ice Age (a misnomer) aka bitterly cold winters for a period of a number of years - But not an ice age as it had been previously understood.

I've read other articles about global temperatures and the carbon cycle that refute and/or greatly ameliorate the effects of cooling.
