Maybe I'm living life backwards. I have over 200 drafts in my queue. My brain is on speed with ideas. I write them down in my drafts. If I don't start writing them within a week (unless I'm sleep deprived -like now) then I re-evaluate.
I can't stop telling stories. Your piece seems good for those starting out. I've been writing short stories (fiction) since the 6th grade and later in HS began writing satire. I have a published a memoir on how I became a healer (see my profile) and 1 fantasy novel privately published - now in re-writes on Medium.
I've written a few screenplays and pitched them to agents. People tell me I write cinematically, becaue I think in pictures - mostly.
