I have many tribes. I've been writing fiction since the 6th grade - badly, though. With practice there has been improvement.

And, Yes - the Medium tribe - and my foundation group - KTHT has been great. I feel supported.

Previous to writing seriously on Medium and joining the paywall I have had some interesting & bizarre criticism.

Some of the critical comments have been laugh-out-loud arising from men deeply entrenched in patriarchal lore etc. All that posturing has been exhausting.

It's been a ride. I continue to learn.
