My "doomer" argument is not an argument it is a statement of what I have seen in the populace at large. People seem to respond only when a dire emergency hits and then seek normalization. The slow demise has already begun. It started in the USA when President Clinton sold out the Democrat base in his second term. It started when Karl Rove decided to make the Dems the enemy etc., etc.

Of course I am aware of the horrendous suffering that seems inevitable. I find your rhetoric insulting, but this could be your age - albeit an assumption that you are younger than me (I am 71) . I fight in my own way.
