Robert Moss has written many books and given workshops on dreaming. Before I get into Robert Moss's technique on interpreting your dream - I have experienced 3 kinds of dreams:

1. Ordinary problem solving dreams that the unconscious works out through symbols.

2. Precognitive Dreams - dreams that foretell a future. I've had four.

3. Dreamtime dreams - these are often repetitive. They involve a neutral reality and seem more real than ordinary dreams.

There are lucid dreams too - you wake up within a dream and know you are dreaming.

Robert Moss - says give you dream a title. You maybe have done that. But you could be more specific.

Moss says that every person you dream of in your dream are aspects of you. So you "re-dream" your dream by entering the dream while awake and become each character one at a time.

Modern dream theory says you're unconscious is solving a problem or set of problems experienced in the outside waking world. Cars and Trains represent the physical body of the dreamer for example.

By re-dreaming your dream by becoming each character you map out what the symbols mean and what the characters are acting out in the dream. You've already got the dream journaling part down so these could be some next steps.

I'd be interested to see what you turn up, if you care to share.
